These are all the In-Game Music used in Doki Doki Literature Club!. All of the songs listed are composed by Dan Salvato and are owned by Team Salvato.
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST[]
These are all the basic backing tracks that are included in the official soundtrack, it does not include the variants and other eerie BGM in the game. The album was released in September of 2017, when the game came out, and is available for purchase on Spotify, Youtube Music, Apple Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, and PlayMusic. It also comes with the DDLC Fanpack. It comes with 15 songs and has a 5-star rating on the iTunes store.
1. Doki Doki Literature Club! (Main Theme)[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Doki Doki Literature Club! (Main Theme)
This is the main theme of the game which plays whenever the player loads up the game. It is the only song other than "Your Reality" to include words, although the only lyrics in the song are "Doki Doki!". When the "Doki Doki!" plays, the girls and the menu options will appear on screen allowing the player to start or load the game. It also plays various times throughout the game during club meetings.
This song is 2 minutes and 7 seconds long, and the main chord sequence for the song is C major, A minor, F major, G major. The only other chord in the song is D minor and it occurs once towards the end of the song. A majority of the BGM follows a similar pattern. Themes and melodies from this song are recurring throughout the game. "Doki Doki", from the title of the song (and game), refers to the sound of a beating heart in Japanese symbolism.
One of the most prominent instruments in the music is piano. The background image for this song on the OST is the image of the girls from the main menu screen and the logo of the game.
The player can access the file for this song, "1.ogg," by using a Ren'Py asset extraction tool such as Shizmob's rpatool to extract the game/audio.rpa file within the Doki Doki Literature Club installation. "1.ogg" as well as all other music files will be found within the game/bgm/ folder.
2. Ohayou Sayori![]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Ohayou Sayori!
This is the first song that plays when the game is started up in Act 1 and Act 4. It is played when the player first meets Sayori on the protagonist's street as he makes his way to school. It is the only song in the OST that does not include the piano (other than Just Monika), and it is also the only song in the game before meeting Monika. It also plays various times out of school throughout the game.
The song is 2 minutes and 43 seconds long, and the main chord progression is F major, B flat major, C major. There are no other chords in the song. This is in contrast to the majority of the soundtrack, which is in the key of C major.
Ohayou means "it's early", and can also mean "good morning". This makes sense considering that this is a morning before school and is early in the game. The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme.

3. Dreams of Love and Literature[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Dreams Of Love and Literature
This song plays during the poem mini game in Acts 1 and 2.
The song is 4 minutes and 9 seconds long. The chord progression of the song is C major, F major, G major, F major. In the middle of the song, it faintly plays the tune from the main theme. Other than that, it plays the same melody over and over with a few variations to the beat.
The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. The song can be found under 4.ogg.
4. Okay Everyone![]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Okay, Everyone!
This song plays during club meetings in Acts 1 and 2, specifically when the protagonist is talking to the girls before or after they show him their poems.
The song is 3 minutes and 4 seconds long. It follows the same chord progression as the main theme. It includes a variety of instruments, including piano, violin, a woodwind instrument, and a xylophone type instrument, which is thought to be one for each of the girls.
"Okay Everyone" refers to Monika's catchphrase when she addresses the club.This song includes melodies from the main theme. The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme.

5. Play With Me[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Play With Me
This song plays during club meetings. It is faster paced than the other songs, but fits in the same key as the main theme. The main chord progression is C major, D minor, C major, F major, however there are some G7, and A minor chords. There is also a bridge in the music at 57 seconds which includes E minor, A major, E major, and G major chords.
"Play with Me" refers to the Natsuki jump scare in Act 2, if the player writes two poems about her.
The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. The song can be found under "6.ogg."
6. Poem Panic![]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Poem Panic!
This song plays during Yuri and Natsuki's fight in Act 1, which (depending on one's choice) Sayori or the protagonist puts an end to. In Act 1, it's meant to be lighthearted and tensely silly. The audio of the song includes "boing" sounds, which symbolizes things going haywire.
There are two main melodies in this song. The main chords in the song are C major and A minor, as well as E minor. The minor chords bring through the feel of conflict. It does not contain melodies from the other songs.
The title of the song is alliterated, to make it seem less serious and more fun. The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. The song can be found under "7.ogg."
7. Daijoubu![]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Daijoubu!
This song plays during Act 1, when the protagonist is out of school.
"Daijoubu" means "alright" or "its fine", which is ironic, since later in the game it becomes evident that everything is not "fine".
The chord progression of this song is F major, B flat major, D minor, C major. It is a very calming song, and like most of the other songs, makes the player lower their guard, causing the horror of the game to come unexpectedly.
The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. It can be found under "8.ogg."
This song is unique in that it is one of the only songs in the primary Act 1 soundtrack that has no Act 2 renditions of any sort, with "Sayo-nara" being the other one for obvious reasons (the main menu theme, "Just Monika," "I Still Love You," and "Your Reality" don't have renditions either, but most of those are exclusive to Acts 3 and 4, with the Main Menu theme being an obvious exception to both cases).
8. My Feelings[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - My Feelings
This song is a lot slower than the rest of the songs in the game. It plays during each of the special scenes with the girls in Act 1, in which the player will receive a CG image, and they talk about their feelings, hence the title.
The chord progression is C major, D minor, F major, E minor. The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme.

9. My Confession[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - My Confession
This song plays during the scene in Sayori's room when she confesses to the protagonist that she has depression, thus its sad and slow theme. The song also plays during Sayori's confession that she in love with the protagonist, the day before her suicide.
The chords in the song are G major, and F major, and the song contains a lot of arpeggios. The background image of the song is the same as the one for the main theme. This is the last song in the OST with this background, aside from the credits. It can be found under "10.ogg."
10. Sayo-nara[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Sayo-nara
This song plays when the protagonist finds Sayori hanging in her room on the day of the festival. The start of the song sounds like a broken tape, and the majority of the songs has a haunting voice-like sound, which plays over a distorted xylophone-type instrument and a piano.
This song contains distorted versions of the main theme and "Dreams of Love and Literature". Sayo-nara obviously refers to Sayori's name, which contains "Sayo" and the word Sayonara, which means "goodbye".
The chord progression is the same as the main theme, with an exception for the glitch audio at the start. It is 2 minutes and 37 seconds long. The background image of this song is the image of the girls from the main menu and the logo, except Sayori is missing from the picture. The song can be found under "d.ogg."
11. Just Monika[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Just Monika.
This audio is not as much music, but is more of sounds that included distorted and faint audios of other BGM, bursting sounds, and outer space-like audio. It is like a mix of broken game sounds and galactic noises. It repeats the same thing over and over for 3 minutes and 22 seconds.
This audio plays when the game restarts for Act 3 and the player is alone with Monika, hence the name, Just Monika.
The chords in this song are a mix of G major, F sharp major, and A sharp major chords, though it does not have a specific tune. The background image for this audio is the image of Monika from the main menu screen, and the game logo. It is the same as the other backgrounds, except the other girls are missing. This song can be found under "m1.ogg."
12. I Still Love You[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - I Still Love You
This audio plays after the player deletes Monika. Its title comes from Monika being unable to hate the player for doing so.
This audio is 2 minutes and 4 seconds long, it is the same tune playing over and over again. An echoed sound, and then a short piano segment. Like "Just Monika", it sounds sort of galactic. The chords in this song are G major, and F major, with the occasional G minor.
The background image here is the same as the one for "Just Monika". It can be found under "monika-end.ogg."
13. Your Reality (Credits)[]

This song, Your Reality, is the final song in the game that plays when the player reaches the end credits. It begins with Monika speaking to the player - making it the third song in the game with vocals.

This song is the only one in the game with lyrics and a voice actor, Jillian Ashcraft, who plays Monika. It is 1 minute and 47 seconds long. The chord progression is the same as the main theme. The tune and melody is also the same as the main theme, except more of the piano than other instruments, and a few variations towards the end and the third chorus. The image for the background is the same as the one for the main theme. The song can be found under "credits.ogg" (despite Monika entering the command to play "ddlc.ogg").
14. Poems are Forever[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST - Poems Are Forever (Bonus Track by shoji)
This audio is not in the game, however it is included in the official soundtrack on YouTube, and is a bonus track composed by Shoji. It is a remix of "Your Reality" as well as most of the other in-game music. It is more techno and upbeat than the rest of the OST.
It is 3 minutes and 41 seconds long. It contains many chords, including C minor, B flat major, G minor, and B flat minor. The background image is the same as the one for the main theme.
15. 「Doki Doki ドキドキ」[]
Nick Kaelar (Varien) - 「Doki Doki ドキドキ」
This audio is also not in the game, but is included in the soundtrack on YouTube. It does not include any of the in-game melodies. It is composed by Nick Kaelar. It is also more techno and upbeat than the in-game music.
This song is 3 minutes and 42 seconds long, and the chords are D sharp minor, G sharp minor, and A sharp major.
The background images in the YouTube video consist of Natsuki's CG images of her sitting next to the wall on the floor as she read with the protagonist in Act 1. Throughout the song, her facial expressions change.
"Okay Everyone" Character Specific Versions[]
Each girl has her own version of "Okay Everyone" whenever the player reads one of her poems. These are on Disc 2 of the DDLC Fanpack. These are thought to be the "themes" for each girl. They are all the same length, but will repeat as necessary in the game. During game-play, the music will fade perfectly from the original version of "Okay Everyone" into the version of whichever girl's poem is being read, all while keeping at the same spot in the music.

Sayori's instrument is thought to be a ukulele.
Her version of Okay Everyone is calming. It does contain other instruments, however, the main one is the ukulele.

Natsuki's instruments are thought to be the recorder and the xylophone.
Her version of this song is more childish than the other three, and less complicated.

Yuri's instrument is a violin.
Her version of the song is smooth, and more sophisticated and elegant compared to the other girls.

4. Okay, Everyone! (Monika)[]
Doki Doki Literature Club! OST Disc 2 - 05 Okay, Everyone! (Monika)
Monika's instrument is of course, piano. Unlike the other girls, this is the only instrument used in her version.
Her version is quieter and is more of a solo, as if she is the one playing it. There are a few small mess ups in the piano music, but this is intentional.

Variants[]
These are other versions of the songs in the OST, usually modified to suit the events happening in the game when played, or to sound more creepy to fit the horror of the game.
Note that all of these names are unofficial and are given by the fandom.
1. Doki Doki Literature Club![]
A rendition of the main menu theme, notably used during the first day when The Protagonist enters the club room for the first time, and used again after everyone finishes sharing their poems. This track is unique in that it is the only extra audio file not present in the soundtrack that is nevertheless used in Act 1 (the rest are either exclusive to Acts 2 through 4 or are only triggered in special cases). The song can be found under "3.ogg" within the background music files.
2. Ohayou Monika![]
A slightly different rendition of "Ohayou Sayori!" that slowly increases and decreases in speed and pitch, used during the beginning of Act 2 [1]. It can be found under the file name "2g2.ogg."
3. Kowareta Literature Club![]
A truncated rendition of "Doki Doki Literature Club," marked by off-pitch notes. These off notes may be a reference to Monika's imperfect music playing (even though the song is mostly woodwinds, while Monika plays a piano). It can be found under the file name "3g.ogg."
4. Konbanwa Sayori![]
A muffled rendition of "Doki Doki Literature Club!" combined with various wet, fleshy noises, cracking, and squeaking. It is played after the second special poem in Act 2 should the red vein screen be triggered (See Random Occurences). It can be found under the file name "3g2.ogg."
5. Abrupt Awakening[]
A short bust of static, followed by a sine wave sequence. It plays if you clicked any glitched words during the second or third poem minigames during Act 2, interrupting the regular "Dreams of Love and Poetry" (See Random Occurences). It can be found under the file name "4g.ogg."
6. Okay, Everyone! (Ghost)[]
A rendition of Natsuki's "Okay, Everyone!" theme, with missing notes, and a repeated muffled clanging in the background. It plays just prior to Natsuki's neck snap jump scare in Act 2, as the screen darkens and her eyes and mouth become covered in black squares. It can be found under the file name "5_ghost.ogg".
7. Okay, Everyone! (Obsessed)[]
A rendition of Yuri's "Okay, Everyone!" theme, seemingly run through an extreme audio compressor. It is played for Yuri's third poem in Act 2. This song continues after you close the poem and Yuri talks about her poem, before a static sound plays and the music abruptly switches back to the standard "Okay Everyone!" It can be found under the file name "5_yuri2.ogg."
8. Play With Me (Distorted)[]
A distorted rendition of "Play With Me" as run through an audio compressor. It is played during Natsuki's Act 2 Day 2 when Natsuki collapses, as well as briefly during Act 2 in the "No Pupil Yuri" sequence should you write three poems for Yuri. It can be found under the file name "6g.ogg."
9. Play With Me (Outside)[]
A muffled rendition of "Play With Me." It is played during Act 2 when The Protagonist is outside of the classroom searching for Yuri. It can be found under the file name "6o.ogg."
10. Play With Me (Reverse)[]
A reversed rendition of "Play With Me." It is played during Act 2 after The Protagonist discovers Yuri cutting herself, and the entire search sequence is reversed. It can be found under the file name "6r.ogg."
11. Have a Nice Weekend![]
A rendition of "Play With Me," playing with a quarter of the speed and pitch. It plays at the end of Act 2 as The Protagonist observes Yuri's decaying corpse over the weekend. It can be found under the file "6s.ogg."
12. Poem Terror[]
A rendition of "Poem Panic" that progressively gets faster and faster. It is played during Yuri and Natsuki's fight in Act 2. It can be found under the file "7g.ogg."
13. My Sanity[]
A truncated, speed-up rendition of "My Feelings." It plays at the end of the third day of Act 2 after Natsuki leaves and Yuri is discussing her responsibilities to the club. Specifically, it plays during the brief cuts with Yuri's distorted head on the black background, as she dismisses "that obnoxious brat." This adds to the abrupt changes of tone between Yuri's main dialog expressing concern over Natsuki and her dismissal of her. The song abruptly ends when a small explosion of blood bursts from Yuri's undistorted eyeball, before the game reverts to Yuri's standard dialog. It can be found under the file "9g.ogg."
14. Yuri's Confession[]
A rendition of "My Confession." This one has crackling sounds throughout the background, as well as points where the song is reversed briefly. The song is also overlaid by heavy breathing and laughter (presumably belonging to Yuri). The song ends with a broken record effect with the last second being repeated several times. It is played during Yuri's confession of love to The Protagonist. It can be found under the file "10-yuri.ogg."
15. Dreams of Ghosts and Monika[]
A few seconds of distorted warbling, played on loop. It is played during the poem minigame in Act 3, where the player composes a poem for Monika using various misspellings of Monika's name. It can be found under the file "ghostmenu.ogg."
16. Everyone Can Be Happy[]
The cracking sound of an old cassette player on blank. It plays should the player attempt to delete either Monika's or Sayori's character file during Act 1, during the ending displaying a monochrome image of Sayori hanging herself. It can be found under the file "s_kill_early.ogg."

A brief, static-filled rendition of the Doki Doki Literature Club main menu theme. It plays at the beginning of Act 3, as Monika is trying to initialize the empty room.
end-voice.ogg[]
Contains Monika's end-game message, as voiced by Jillian Ashcraft. This plays before the "Your Reality" credits song.
g1.ogg[]
A brief sine wave. It most notably plays at the end of the "No Pupil Yuri" sequence.
g2.ogg[]
A longer sine wave at a lower pitch.
heartbeat.ogg[]
The sound of a heavy heartbeat, with static in the background. It can be heard during Act 2 whenever Yuri has isolated The Protagonist and displays her obsessiveness over him.
2g.ogg[]
This song is a very brief rendition of the first few notes of "Ohayou Sayori!," with the notes in the middle slowed down somewhat.
