I'm not sure in this is the proper place to put it since it's my first Wikia discussion post, and I don't see any Talk/Discussion for the Edit page on the relevant pages I'm about to mention. So I guess I'll post here, since I think people should know. I'm not going to edit the pages, but I suggest it should be done since there are people that made those additions in the first place and I'm not sure if they'll edit those back in.
On each of the character's page, there are Japanese names for each. The following is what is currently shown on each page.
Monika (モニカ - meaning advisor or counselor)
Natsuki (なつき/ナツキ - usually "summer" and "rare")
Sayori (小夜里/さより - "village")
Yuri (百合 - "lily")
Although many would consider Japanese names to be a nice addition to each page, it is misinformation as none of the names are confirmed to have those specific meanings (with the exception of Natsuki and Yuri, although definitions of each were not explicitly stated). The kanji in Sayori's name is definitely not confirmed, especially since Dan stated that Sayori's name just a name-fusion he thought of Saori and Sayuri without any meaning, and Monika's name was just taking Monica and substituting a "k" in there in place of a "c" to fit Japanese romanization.
If the page *must* have a Japanese name (which I suggest none should have at the moment, considering the fact there is no official Japanese translation of the game), each of the names should be written in katakana, with no definition given.
Monika - モニカ
Natsuki - ナツキ
Sayori - サヨリ
Yuri - ユリ
Fictional characters in Japanese media tend to use katakana in names, especially when there are foreign names (in this case, Monika is the foreign name as it has no proper meaning). Unless otherwise stated, there should not be English translations of names or kanji on any of the pages.
